Meet Håvard

I mainly perform as a one-man live act: voice, guitar, and microphone. That is the format I return to most often, but it is not the whole story. I have played in bands, played regular jam nights, done collaborations, and I am still always open to new musical experiences when a new opportunity comes along.

I have performed live since I was young, with professional gigs going back to 2013. Bergen is my home, and Sjøboden has been my main stage through the years, with gigs there now spanning well over a decade. Those nights have taught me a lot about pacing a room, taking requests, and moving between background music, singalongs, and party energy.

I have also moved around a fair bit, and wherever I have lived I have found my way into different musical settings. That has included pub gigs in Dublin and Stuttgart, beach parties in Barcelona and Valencia, and a whole range of student concerts in Trondheim — from local festivals with a student band to ladies’ nights as part of a guitar duo during my time studying there.

I mainly perform covers, but I enjoy bringing my own feel to familiar songs while still staying true to what people love about the originals. Some events need danceable classics, some need quiet warmth, and some special moments need that one right song, played simply and honestly.
